Mr Davies is now teaching Year 6 at Bethel. He brings a variety of skills and knowledge to Bethel. Originally from a Social Science background, Mr Davies found the transition to Primary school teaching a very refreshing and rewarding change.
He is the Primary Sports Coordinator and coaches most of our teams in the primary department. He has been encouraged by the growth in sport participation in recent years. He also coordinates the After School Sports program which is in its second successful year at Bethel.
His other interests include running (you may see him pounding the pavement around the area), squash, mountain biking, computers, music, traveling and exploring the wonders of God's creation.
Mrs Angela Dade
Mrs Dade has taught for many years in her native country, Romania. She
has been teaching at Bethel for 4 years casually. Mrs Dade is passionate about
English and is flexible in the roles she undertakes at Bethel.

Miss Wood joined us in 2006 to teach Year 5.

Melanie Davies BTeach (Prim) BEd (University of Wollongong)
Ms Davies started working at Bethel as a casual teacher in 1998. From 1999 onwards she was the RFF teacher in Years K-6, teaching subjects such
as Personal Development, Health, Visual Arts and English. She likes teaching
students of all ages in a wide range of subject areas. For a short time, she
taught Mathematics in Years 7-10. In 2006, Ms Davies became the K-6
Literacy Support Teacher. She majored in this area at university. She loves
teaching children about the English language and how they can use their skills
to enjoy a range of written texts.
Mrs Kim Dixon
Mrs Dixon has performed a variety of roles whilst working at Bethel. She has been the reading support teacher for a number of years as well as teaching Kindergarten and Year 4. She is presently teaching All classes in the primary for a range of different subjects.
Miss Lyndal Kane
Miss Kane joins Bethel as the Year 2 teacher in 2007. She has degrees in communications and teaching and worked in Public Relations for two years before God called her into primary teaching. She is a worship leader at her church and is passionate about seeing people connect with God and discover his love for them.
