At Bethel the curriculum aims to prepare young people for adulthood, work, service to the community and leisure. They are presented with the claims of the Gospel and are taught and encouraged to form strong Christian values and faith in order to meet and succeed in challenges of the world around them.

The school draws its life and inspiration from the Bible and the motto - "Sanctified in spirit, soul and body" (1 Thessalonians 5:23) contains the aims of educating the whole person in the spiritual, social, academic and physical realms.

Bethel Christian School is a part of the ministry of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Australia. The school is considered a ministry to children of Christian parents irrespective of church association.
